Rousselet-Robatel designs and manufactures horizontal and vertical centrifuges and associated control systems in-house. This allows for total quality control and strict inspection throughout the equipment manufacturing process ensuring that the final product is delivered according to our high quality specifications. Rousselet Robatel manufactures horizontal axis peeler centrifuges, vertical basket bottom discharge centrifuges, vertical basket top discharge centrifuges, decanter centrifuges, liquid-liquid extraction centrifuges, and liquid-liquid separation centrifuges designed to meet laboratory, pilot plant, and production manufacturing demands in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries, with over 250 years of experience.

Pharmaceutical design horizontal peeler centrifuge
- We manufacture a laboratory / benchtop vertical centrifuge with capacities ranging from 300 grams to 1.2 kg.
- Our Barrier Isolated Centrifuges provide a safe way to handle highly potent products. Small to medium-sized centrifuges can be built with a rigid glove box covering the active area and larger centrifuges can have a soft-sided glove bag attached to the centrifuge casing.
- Our monostage centrifugal extractors and multistage centrifugal extractors are centrifuges used for bench scale and production scale solvent extraction primarily in the pharmaceutical, food, and citrus industries. These machines use high centrifugal G-force to accelerate the separation of two immiscible liquids having different densities.
- These centrifuges can be used for both Liquid-Liquid extraction and Liquid/Liquid separation. Mono-stage extraction equipment is offered for flow rates between 2 ml/hr up to 1250 liters per minute (330 GPM). Our multistage extraction equipment is offered for flow rates between 200 ml per minute up to 133 liters per minute (35 GPM).
- Our annular centrifugal contactors are used for liquid / liquid separations with flow rates ranging from 2 ml/hr on a laboratory scale up to 1250 liters per minute (330 GPM) for industrial scale.
- Our custom centrifuge skid packages are targeted for the pharmaceutical, pilot plant and kilo-laboratory centrifugal processing environment. This includes basket centrifuges, peeler centrifuges and liquid/liquid centrifuges. We manufacture custom centrifuges and custom skid packages to accurately match customer's requirements with the necessary process equipment and centrifuge features.
- We also have a line of vertical axis automatic batch centrifuges used in the food processing industry for potato-chips, bacon bits, lettuce washing and other food processing centrifuge applications. These centrifugals generate low G-force to de-water or de-oil delicate products. Products can be discharged automatically from the centrifuge by a pusher plate or manually by lifting the basket liner from the centrifuge.
- Our centrifuges for the machine tool industry are used for ECM applications, and metal chip de-oiling. Decanter centrifuges with automatic discharge are used for fine particles, and filtration centrifuges are used for coarse particles.
