Laboratory Centrifuge : Model RC 20 / RC 30
Applications :
The laboratory centrifuge has been designed by Rousselet Robatel for use in Laboratories specialising in fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, research and food processing.
Its versatility allows a utilisation for laboratory as well as pilot plant trials and even for small scale production. Constructed according to industrial manufacturing standards enables it to perform under the most arduous conditions with highly corrosive and flammable materials.
Robust, relaible and easily maintained, this machine is characterised by its adaptability. By interchanging some elements it allows you to investigate and solve a wide range of solid/liquid separation problems.
General features :
- Rigid construction. Vertical axis centrifuge mounted on 4 anti-vibration rubber dampers.
- Basket : diameter 200 mm (RC20) 300 mm (RC 30) with removable filtration bag. Rotation speed 3000 rpm.
- Lid with sealing gasket and safety locking, fitted with feeding pipe and sight glass.
- Drive : the basket is driven in rotation by a single speed electric motor via a V-Belt connected to a frequency invertor to achieve starting, braking
and variable speed. All the electrical equipment mounted on the machine is built according to IP 55 standards.
- Safety : centrifuge equipped with all safety devices.
- Control of the centrifuge from a control box mounted on the centrifuge. Control panel containing contactors located in safe area.
- Material : all product wetted parts are manufactured from stainless steel AISI 316 (L & ti).

- Explosion proof equipment : Motor and electrical equipment mounted on the centrifuge according to European Standards EN, USA or other standards (FM, UL, CSA).
- Inertization : The centrifuge can be designed and built to accomodate nitrogen blanketing (nitrogen pipes and suitable lid gasket); optional supply of the blanketing device and hydraulic syphon.
- Materials : Special grades of stainless steel or alloys (HASTELLOY) .

Bench Top Centrifuge : Model RA20
The Rousselet Robatel Model RA20Vx centrifuge is a laboratory scale / bench top centrifuge suitable for use in laboratories to evaluate centrifugal solid / liquid separation problems. The RA20 can be equipped with a perforated basket for performing solid / liquid centrifugal filtration or a solid bowl for performing solid / liquid centrifugal decantation / sedimentation.
The small capacity of 1.2 liters solids volume allows for thorough evaluation while minimizing consumption of valuable products.
Simple design, and low cost make the RA20 an ideal addition to the laboratory or glass plant.
