The Rousselet-Robatel PLC control system is based on the supply of machine-mounted electrical equipment. The PLC system is typically supplied with a local control panel, drive panel, and a main control panel. All machine-mounted components are intrinsically safe or rated to meet Class I, Groups C & D, Division 1. Each centrifuge component is pre-wired through liquid-tight flexible conduit to a numbered terminal strip within a machine-mounted junction box.
Although our preferred PLC system incorporates an Allen Bradley PanelView color operator interface terminal and Allen Bradley SLC 504 controller, we have experience with alternate PLC suppliers and can adapt our program to suit the customer's desired format.
The Rousselet-Robatel control system is an independent unit, which can completely control the machine-mounted devices as well as the specified field devices without the intervention of the customer's DCS. The PLC offers four operating modes and the ability to program up to 10 different product recipes.
