New Centrifuge for the CEA

A High Technology Centrifuge

Rousselet Robatel has developed a fully automated decanter centrifuge for the "Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives" (CEA - French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission) on a mobile SKID, for up to 2,000 G force.

This centrifuge has the capacity to operate under controlled vacuum, in order to capture, to directing and to send the emitted gases to a treatment plant. The temperature of the product in the centrifuge, acquired in rotation by an infrared sensor, controls the operation of a hot/cold unit.
This thermo-cryostat manages the temperature in the machine from 10 to 110°C. All these parameters are managed in the PLC whose program was specially developed for this project by the engineers of Rousselet Robatel.
It also allows the addition of 10 configurable analog channels and the USB storage of various Process data.
